A Farewell After 17 Years
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the closure of our business for the time being. After 17 incredible years serving this wonderful community, we will be closing our doors on or around December 6th
This is not necessarily a final goodbye—we are exploring every possible option and hope this pause may only be temporary. We will keep you updated on any developments, and we sincerely thank you for your unwavering support over the years.
While this chapter is ending sooner than we hoped, we look back on nearly two decades with immense pride and gratitude.
Over the years, we have proudly served nearly 50,000 medical & recreational customers, and we will miss every single one of you. You were more than just patrons; you were the lifeblood of our operation and made this journey truly rewarding. Thank you for your loyalty, support, and for making us a part of your lives.

Founded in 2008, Our original mission was to offer high-quality and affordable cannabis to a small collective of medical patients who struggled to meet their needs locally.

Incorporated & Expanded: In 2015, Organic Greens adapted to evolving laws governing medical Cannabis dispensaries by incorporating. In 2017, significant updates were made to the retail space and digital operations at our Daley Street location.
Going Recreational: In 2020 we marked a pivotal moment as our shop expanded the mission to include recreational customers. January 2020 saw the official commencement of serving adult-use customers, and we proudly secured the title of Best of Weedmaps Dispensary (Goleta/Santa Barbara) in 2020.
2023 & 2024: We celebrated our 15-year anniversary in 2023 and, 2024 brings a brand new look to Organic Greens! Our entryway and sales floor underwent a complete redesign to enhance the shopping experience. The new space allows us to showcase our full product line, featuring interactive QR codes on displays for in-depth product descriptions and convenient in-store, mobile ordering.
2025: After 17 incredible years serving our community, we closed our doors in December of 2025. This difficult decision is the direct result of the industry downturn which began in 2021, losing our lease, and being unable to secure a suitable new location. We look back on nearly two decades with immense pride and gratitude.
